Chris "Jesus" Ferguson (the nickname comes from his long hair and beard) holds a PhD in Computer Science from UCLA. Playing cards since childhood, Chris played low limit (nickel and dime) poker with his friends through high school. While studying computer science, Chris discovered IRC poker and returned to the game. These games were not for money, but Chris was one of the top players on the network for many years. In the mid-1990's he began serious study of poker theory and started tournament play shortly thereafter, making a point of never playing over his bankroll.

Putting his computer science background to good use, Chris has been a key person in the design of poker software for Full Tilt Poker. He still represents and can be found playing or chatting in the forums on the Full Tilt Poker site.
