Poker Pros - Howard Lederer

Biography      Tournament Wins      Howard Lederer Merchandise      Books by Howard Lederer

Howard Lederer grew up in a card-playing New Hampshire family (which also produced another poker champion - his sister, Annie Duke). An avid chess player, Howard moved to New York at age 18 to pursue his passion. It was there that he started playing poker, which quickly replaced chess as his game of choice. He honed his poker skills at the famous Mayfair bridge and backgammon club, along with such future stars as Eric Seidel and Dan Harrington.

In 1993 Howard Leder moved to Las Vegas to play poker, initially in cash games and progressing to WPT events. He and his sister Annie Duke were the only brother-sister pair to play at the same WSOP final table.

Howard is one of the pros that can be found playing at Full Tilt Poker.
