Considered by many to be one of the best poker players around, Phil Ivey was born in New Jersey and grew up playing poker with his friends and co-workers. He earned the nickname "No Home Jerome" from an id card he obtained to practice poker in Atlantic City casinos while still a teenager. He was also well known in the video gaming world, before becoming a professional poker player.

Phil Ivy can be found playing at Full Tilt Poker, where he is a spokesperson and member of the design team.
