A relative newcomer to the online poker arena, Full Tilt has a different
look and feel than the other poker sites. Instead of "Vegas
glitz ", this site
is more like a smokey, back room poker game. The
software is well designed and easy to use and features a choice

can even change
your avatar's facial expression to pout over a bad beat
or grin when
you take down a big pot. You'll find all the usual
utilities like hand history, statistics and player notes, and the
lobby displays both the flop percentage and

want to find the faster paced games (they also have speed
tables). Full
Tilt is currently the only online poker site with a native
Mac/OS download of their software.
The game variety here is excellent, and includes
hard-to-find games and variants like Razz , HORSE
(multi game) tournaments and highly popular 4
person heads-up shootouts. Table
stakes range from 5-10 cents to $1000-$2000. One of the things
we liked best is that there
are play money tables for all games, not just Texas
HoldEm! If
you're trying to come up to speed on Pot Limit Omaha you don't
have to blow through your bankroll to do it!
Another way to conserve your funds are the new cap games,
which let you play a lot of pots without
a lot of risk! The real
money competition at Full Tilt is moderately tough. If you're
accustomed to soft competition your ego may take a few bruises
at first - but it
will also make you a better player.
You can't help noticing the number of pro
endorsers on this site.
We counted no less than 10 of the top names
in professional poker - names like Howard
Lederer, Phil Ivey, Phil Gordon and Chris Ferguson, just to name
a few. And yes, they really do play here. You
won't see all of them 24/7, but you're likely
